Tasting Notes
2008 Neblina Sauvignon Blanc. A crisp dry yet fruity wine, the classic gooseberry flavours of a good sauvignon are here, balanced with a good rounded fruity flavours with a hint of green apples.
2008 Neblina Chardonnay. A dry yet fruity chardonnay that is UNOAKED in the ageing process, so retains much more fruity flavours with the buttery smoothness of a good chardonnay. Whilst this is classed a dry wine, I feel that the low acidity & sharpeness would appeal to drinkers who may usually ask for a medium dry white.
2008 Neblina Merlot. A medium to full bodied Chilean merlot. Rich and “jammy” flavours abound with a hint of vanilla from the oak aging that reminds me of a good Rioja. Highly recommended with our sausages & mash !
