Come along to the first annual Woodbridge inter-pub Conkers championship…
1st November 2009 (That’s a Sunday!) – meet at The Angel from 2pm for team briefing (& beer!), before making the long trek to Ye Old Bell & Steelyard (who came up with the idea!) for the match at 3.00pm.
Teams have been fielded from here (duh!), The Red Lion, The Old Mariner, The Anchor & of course Ye Old Bell & Steelyard.
There are rumours that The King’s Head may field a team, but as yet this is hearsay; pure & simple (sorry!).
The entry cost is £1.00 per player with all proceeds going to Help for Heroes.
