Entry is £1.00 per person, with a cash prize for the winning team, and a bowl of chips at “half time”!

Only cloud on the horizon (not really!) is that it’s also my mother-in-law’s birthday… but as it’s not the 1970’s and “Mother In Law” jokes aren’t really in vogue I’ll just wish Penny a very Happy Birthday and she’ll be in for lunch!

Had a great weekend of live jazz here,

Started with the Giles Room Jazz band – their first public gig! Watch out for them, great fun & I reckon destined for greatness!

Sunday night (Valentines) saw the return of The Blueport Jazz Duo playing relaxed music for a few hours during the evening to our diners.

Will keep you all posted as to the next event!

Seems that a great time was had by all last night, with nearly 30 people entering the quiz!

The winners then very kindly donated their haul to Help for Heroes as well!

We are awaiting confirmation of our next quiz, looking likely to be 14th March…
